Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, mathematicians, and software engineers
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and error-correction protocols
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to solve intractable computational challenges
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at IEEE conferences
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading projects with budgets exceeding $2M
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
