Responsibilities
- Architect and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy quantum solutions in finance and logistics
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure DARPA/NASA grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Drive quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar research budgets
- Patents in quantum algorithms or hardware design preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for executive stakeholders
