Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead quantum hardware development initiatives focusing on qubit stability and error correction
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure federal and private research funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates in quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction protocols
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
