Responsibilities
- Lead research in quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning models
- Develop and optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum circuits compatible with emerging qubit technologies
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction principles
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum computing platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
