Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using superconducting qubit systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum error correction architectures
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Security clearance eligibility (or willingness to obtain)
