Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead research on post-quantum cryptography standards for 2026 compliance
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on quantum processor optimization
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in algebraic topology and category theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
