Responsibilities

- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications for 2026 deployment
- Secure federal grants and corporate partnerships for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development and quantum error correction techniques
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped-ion, photonic)
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants or corporate R&D funding
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
