Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Conduct research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Develop quantum software using Qiskit, Cirq, and other quantum programming frameworks
- Analyze experimental data from quantum processors and refine theoretical models
- Lead publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical analysis
