Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software and physical qubit systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quantum hackathons
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies and IP protection strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Mastery of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
