Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and hardware-software co-design
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for client-specific challenges
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quarterly hackathons
- Secure $5M+ in annual government and private research grants
- Present findings to C-suite executives and strategic partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
