Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks in cryogenic environments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with physical implementations
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of postdoctoral research
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum control
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, DOE, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
