Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms and protocols for practical applications.
- Conduct research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with quantum processors.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Lead or contribute to interdisciplinary projects that bridge quantum computing with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Present research findings to internal stakeholders and at industry conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of our quantum research team.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields is highly desirable.
