Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead experiments on quantum error correction protocols at 99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants from NSF and DoD
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (2020-2026 graduates)
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (minimum 3 papers)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity theory
