Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to inform 5-10 year strategic planning
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for market evolution and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-focused initiatives
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in top industry journals
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and M&A opportunities
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future market opportunities through data modeling and forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience speaking at global conferences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
