Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Lead interdisciplinary research teams comprising physicists, computer scientists, and domain experts
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at major conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Collaborate with academic partners on NSF and DARPA-funded quantum initiatives
- Drive quantum literacy across engineering teams through workshops and training
- Secure intellectual property through strategic patent filings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
