Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical quantum solutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure government/industry research grants
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards and ethical AI frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and photonic systems
