Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications.
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems targeting 2026 deployment.
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces.
- Conduct peer-reviewed research and publish findings in top-tier journals.
- Secure federal and private funding through competitive grant proposals.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovative lab culture.
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience.
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq).
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred).
