Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop error mitigation strategies for large-scale quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in building quantum software development kits (SDKs)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors
- Translate quantum research into commercial applications for finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms with practical applications
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
