Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures integrating QPU, classical HPC, and AI acceleration layers
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployments
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists in quantum algorithm implementation
- Architect secure quantum communication networks with post-quantum cryptography integration
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Establish quantum system performance benchmarks and continuous improvement frameworks
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm optimization (QAOA, VQE, QML)
- Proven track record of deploying quantum systems on cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, Amazon Braket)
- Mastery of quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical integration frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Experience leading quantum security implementations including QKD protocols
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
