Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating classical-quantum hybrid workflows
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams deploying quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise security frameworks
- Research and implement error correction techniques for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Create performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum-classical interfaces
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Understanding of quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography standards
