Responsibilities
- Design & Production: Create high-fidelity 2D animations for web, mobile, and broadcast media using industry-standard software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with art directors, concept artists, and developers to align visual styles and technical requirements.
- Storytelling: Develop compelling storyboards and animatics to visualize complex scenes before full production.
- Optimization: Optimize animated assets for performance, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior animators to elevate the team's overall output.
- Innovation: Experiment with new techniques and tools to keep our creative output ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in 2D animation production.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, and Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Principles: Strong understanding of traditional animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch, follow-through).
- Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of styles and technical capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts.
- Workflow: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines.
