Job Description
Are you ready to architect the intelligence of tomorrow? Nexus Future Systems is seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead the development of our proprietary 2026 technology roadmap. As we transition from generative text to autonomous agentic workflows, you will be at the forefront of shaping the next era of human-machine collaboration.
In this role, you won't just maintain systems; you will engineer the foundation for the next decade of AI innovation. We are looking for a technical leader who thrives in ambiguity and possesses the expertise to build scalable, safe, and high-performance AI infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Models: Lead the design and implementation of multimodal foundation models, specifically targeting the capabilities expected by 2026 (e.g., true reasoning, autonomous tool use).
- Optimize Inference Pipelines: Develop high-performance, low-latency inference systems capable of handling enterprise-scale throughput.
- Agentic AI Integration: Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into complex autonomous agent workflows, ensuring robust error handling and state management.
- MLOps & Scalability: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment using Kubernetes and serverless architectures.
- Ethical AI Compliance: Establish and enforce rigorous guardrails to ensure AI outputs are safe, unbiased, and compliant with evolving global regulations.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide a team of top-tier ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field from a top-tier university.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in building and deploying production-grade AI systems.
- Core Tech: Deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong proficiency in Python.
- Model Engineering: Extensive experience fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, Mistral) using techniques like LoRA and QLoRA.
- Infrastructure: Proven track record in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Mathematical Fluency: Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
