Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions to automate software delivery.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery protocols.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and security using Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools to proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to refactor monolithic applications into microservices architecture.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with DoD and NIST standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and Linux system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Active Secret clearance or willingness to obtain one is highly preferred.
