Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, quantum computing, and neurotech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite stakeholders
- Author white papers on emerging socio-technological paradigms
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight into innovation pipelines
- Establish ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and AI deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, futures research, or equivalent innovation strategy
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published author or thought leader in emerging tech ethics
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Mapping, STEEP analysis)
