Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain Horizon's '2026 Vision' framework with quarterly scenario planning updates
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize emerging tech investments (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration)
- Deliver executive briefings on future risk/opportunity landscapes to the board of directors
- Champion innovation culture through internal 'Future Labs' and external thought leadership
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting global tech ecosystems
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' whitepapers establishing industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into enterprise-level strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling capabilities with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., SWOT, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
