What You'll Accomplish You'll develop actionable future scenarios, identify disruptive market opportunities, and collaborate with C-suite executives to position Horizon Dynamics as the industry leader in 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological and societal trends through 2026
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios for board-level decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify emerging opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present complex future insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Design innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Advise on long-term capital allocation for future-proofing the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Published research or thought leadership in technology/societal futures
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects with measurable impact
