Responsibilities
- Develop multi-horizon foresight frameworks scanning 2026-2035 technological, societal, and economic shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test strategic initiatives
- Produce trend reports identifying inflection points in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies with human-centered design
- Partner with R&D teams to de-risk R&D pipelines through anticipatory governance
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling ability with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, SFI) preferred
