Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ market evolution
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-thinking into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that challenge conventional thinking and foster breakthrough ideas
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and predictive intelligence reports
- Manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) in product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience publishing in leading futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
