As a thought leader in our cross-functional innovation team, you'll spearhead research initiatives spanning quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to translate future trends into actionable business strategies while mentoring a cohort of emerging futurists.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop and publish forward-looking white papers on AI governance, biotech convergence, and metaverse economics
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps with 5-year implementation frameworks
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for emerging technologies
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio for experimental projects in quantum applications and neurotech
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed foresight research or industry trend reports
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption scenarios
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi analysis, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
