Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks for emerging technologies and disruptive business models
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise on long-term R&D investments and M&A opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite advisory role
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into business impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning and risk-mitigation frameworks
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
