Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year strategic foresight initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive forces impacting industries by 2026
- Develop scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies for Fortune 500 clients
- Produce high-impact trend reports and executive briefings translating complex data into strategic priorities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with future realities
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Build and maintain a global network of domain experts to validate foresight hypotheses
- Lead client engagements to position Horizon Insights as the premier strategic partner for future-proofing
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or relevant advanced analytics training
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic planning implementations
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
