Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Translate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) into market-ready business strategies
- Author high-impact whitepapers and executive briefings on future industry disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting with demonstrable futurist projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario modeling frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences and board-level communications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, books, reports)
