Our San Francisco hub offers unmatched access to global thought leaders and emerging tech ecosystems. This hybrid position requires 3 days/week in our state-of-the-art Innovation Center, featuring biometric workspaces and AI-powered collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical innovation guidelines for AI, biotech, and quantum computing implementations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future economic impacts using proprietary predictive analytics and trend forecasting models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record developing long-term strategic plans (2025+) for Fortune 500 organizations
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, backcasting)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Professional certification from Association of Professional Futurists or equivalent
