Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology impact assessments for emerging fields including quantum supremacy, neural interfaces, and climate-tech AI
- Architect cross-disciplinary research roadmaps integrating nanotechnology, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive technology adoption curves
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers published in Nature and MIT Technology Review
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs for 2026 deliverables
- Mentor PhD fellows in Future Studies program through Stanford partnership
- Represent company at Davos and World Economic Forum technology summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in predictive modeling using Monte Carlo simulations and Bayesian networks
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or climate-tech adaptation
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing architectures and molecular manufacturing
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD Level 5) for classified projects
