Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs)
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Administer immunizations and medications under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical assisting experience
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
