Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Conduct regular network audits to identify security vulnerabilities and optimize system configurations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical network outages and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud solutions and enhance network security protocols.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network hardware and software upgrades.
- Monitor network traffic using advanced tools to predict and prevent potential issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, design, and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment and protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLAN).
- Experience with network security solutions, including firewalls and VPNs.
- CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNP certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
