Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
- Respond to and resolve critical Level 2 & 3 technical incidents escalated during the night shift.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates outside of peak business hours.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to internal stakeholders and clients via ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow).
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the knowledge base for the day shift team.
- Collaborate with the security team to patch vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or System Administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, and monitoring software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
