Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for near-term and fault-tolerant quantum computers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve noise reduction and qubit coherence.
- Translate theoretical physics concepts into executable software code and simulation environments.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuits and error-correction protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Write high-quality documentation and technical papers for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with experience in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory.
- Proven track record of solving complex algorithmic problems in high-performance computing environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile teams.
