Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS Lambda and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices using SonarQube
- Document system architecture and create API specifications using Swagger
- Drive DevOps initiatives including infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and Go programming languages
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in financial technology or high-transaction systems
- CS degree or equivalent technical certification required
- Experience leading cross-functional agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
- Proficiency in monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus) and observability practices
