Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/Azure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python/Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and databases
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
- Detroit metro area residency or willingness to relocate
