Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Java and AWS
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD best practices
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through technical guidance and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with system design experience
