Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging across all environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of shipping high-availability systems
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with fintech or SaaS applications a plus
