Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Java/Python and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Own system reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Drive code quality via unit testing, integration tests, and static analysis
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders through clear documentation and demos
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years building production-grade Java or Python applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with serverless and containerization
- Proven track record mentoring development teams
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems
- CI/CD proficiency (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with collaborative mindset
