Responsibilities
- Define and execute the high-level system architecture for the 2026 Protocol, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
- Lead the migration strategy from legacy systems to the new 2026 ecosystem, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers—to design robust APIs and microservices.
- Oversee the implementation of enterprise-grade security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR).
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Drive performance optimization initiatives to ensure sub-millisecond latency for critical transactions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in system architecture, software engineering, or related technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale system migrations or greenfield projects.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust) and frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into production infrastructure.
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and future-proofing legacy systems.
