Responsibilities
- Technical Audits & Optimization: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems; implement solutions to improve site health and Core Web Vitals scores.
- Schema & Structured Data: Implement and maintain advanced schema markup (JSON-LD) to enhance rich snippets and improve organic visibility.
- Site Architecture: Collaborate with development teams to optimize site structure, URL hierarchies, and internal linking strategies for maximum crawlability and user experience.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to identify new keyword opportunities and market gaps.
- Content Strategy: Partner with content creators to ensure technical SEO best practices are integrated into content calendars and editorial processes.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed monthly performance reports using Google Analytics and Search Console to demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic traffic for mid-to-large scale websites.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, and Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic Python or SQL is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude towards optimization.
