- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive innovations across 15+ industries
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into execution plans
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as the future's voice
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Mentor a team of junior futurists while maintaining rigorous research methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in applied futurism
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with proficiency in horizon scanning tools and trend analysis platforms
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive teams through compelling narrative frameworks
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) strongly preferred
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ multi-year foresight projects with measurable impact
