Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care plans across multidisciplinary teams
- Manage appointment scheduling and administrative workflows
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Support community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Collaborate with insurance providers for coverage verification
- Train new staff on department protocols and systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years of healthcare coordination experience
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner)
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screen required
