Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care units with precision and empathy
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes in real-time
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients/families on health maintenance and discharge plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or associate degree with 1+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
