Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed information about merchandise features and pricing.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and digital payments.
- Stock shelves, organize display areas, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store operational goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the store manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for walk-in candidates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (10-12 kg) as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be detail-oriented with basic math skills for cash handling.
