Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models using Python, R, and SQL to analyze large-scale government datasets
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for fraud detection and risk assessment
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau for executive stakeholder presentations
- Lead cross-functional projects with compliance teams to ensure data governance standards
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize data processing pipelines using AWS services
- Present findings to federal clients with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data science with government or federal contracting
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and statistical modeling
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one immediately
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
